Upon doing so, I find that there are bits of grey plastic in the cup, apparently from someone leaving a grocery bag in the freezer and it getting stuck in the ice maker. Opening the refrigerator to place our food items in there, I decided to fill a cup with ice. We take a walk into the kitchen to find a broken garbage can that has been resting against a disgustingly dirty wall. My child went to pick up a basketball from the net and the entire thing fell to the ground. When we walked in, we took a walk through and found the mini basketball game and Pac-Man game inside the garage. We'd planned to take our children to the water park, enjoy the pool that was included in our stay, enjoy the game room and soak in the hot tub. We were assured based on what was listed on Expedia (water slide, kids, club, tennis court, game room, kids pool), that we were going to have a nice 'staycation'. We were immediately taken aback by the photos the homes were immaculate the location was off the beaten path of the busy Orlando traffic and the amenities were very attractive. We researched and found the vacation homes at Encore. We chose to stay in Kissimmee, as we were familiar with the area, and we know we have a good time there. We usually take a family trip every summer, but this year decided that we would stay closer to home, due to many travel restrictions. Once they have your money they'll forget all about what they promised. Nothing else was fixed!! Don't waste your money on this place. They promised to fix the issue and the only thing they did was send an exterminator to spray. The wifi didn't work, the cable didn't work, the credit card machines didn't work at the restaurant, the home theater equipment was missing, the cues sticks to shoot pool was non existent, the vertical blinds were not all there, the coffee pot didn't work, the safe didn't work in fact the batteries were corroded what looked like years, there was a nasty bug that greeted me when waking up this morning, and the list goes on.

At first things seemed ok until we were settled in. 2.5 hours after check in time we were allowed in the house after we were told it was inspected and cleared for occupancy. The larger of the 2 was delayed because the previous renters trashed the place. upon arrival we were only able to get into one of two houses we rented. The fact that the locks did not hold the pass code information raises the concern for lack of security.

On 2 different days the security gates No one offered any concern for the issues when brought up to the help desk. When we addressed this to the help desk we were told that this was normal due to the orchards. There were WORMS similar to a small earthworm throughout the bottom floor. We lost power to 1/3 of the house upstairs for the entire stay. The light bulb on the front door/ porch was finally replaced on the 6th day there. There were no working lights on either the front door/porch or the back door/porch. There are no security cameras to see who is coming and going out of the house. On the 3rd day someone gained entrance into the home and stole over $2500 of our personal items. My family was left to sit out in the drive way late at night while we waited on maintenance The issue with the locks continued well into our 3rd day on the resort. It took well over an hour for maintenance to come from another resort to let us in to the house on both evenings.

We were locked out of the house on 2 different evenings. The rental properties offered for Encore Resort at Reunion are handled by a 3rd party who is not even present on property. On 2 different days the security gates No one offered any concern for the issues when brought up to the help.
